Do I have to wear eye protection while using the mask?
Yes, it is important to limit exposure to blue LED light. We recommend using the provided protective eye cup inserts for each therapy session.
How often should you use the Weetall red light therapy mask?
For acne, we recommend using Anti-acne mode every other day for the first 30 days. Once desired results are achieved, we recommend using anti-acne mode as needed or at the first sign of a breakout.
We recommend using anti-aging mode, 3-4x a week to maintain healthy, vibrant skin.
What is the difference between blue light therapy and red light therapy?
Blue light is the shorter wavelength, higher energy light. Blue light gets absorbed by the cells on the skin’s surface effectively targeting acne-causing bacteria (p. acnes).
Red light is a longer wavelength, lower energy light. Red light penetrates deeper and acts below the skin’s surface to reduce inflammation and soothe redness. resulting in better overall skin health.
